Trevor recalled the dancers showing James a few of their own moves and shapes first, half-expecting him not to keep up - then watching, stunned, as he matched and outdid them. The same layered lighting built for the session runs through this frame: a strong blue-gelled backlight, warmed and softened by the Kodak Wratten filters on the camera, with vaseline smeared at the filter's edge for that hazy, dutched-angle glow.
