Rik Mayall Alternative Comedy Festival
Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire
A selection of Trevor Rogers' photographs from the 1981 Comic Strip studio session - nearly 600 Hasselblad frames captured in a single sitting - exhibited at the inaugural Rik Mayall Comedy Festival. The exhibition was opened by Peter Richardson and received coverage from BBC Midlands News.
The session, arranged through art director Paul Henry following Trevor's attendance at a Comic Strip show at the Raymond Revuebar, remains one of the most complete photographic records of the British alternative comedy scene at its inception.

2015
Museum of Comedy
The Undercroft, St George's Church, London
Trevor Rogers' photographs from the 1981 Comic Strip session were shown at the Museum of Comedy in London, offering one of the first public exhibitions of this body of work. The images document the early formation of a generation of British comedians who would go on to define alternative comedy.
Exhibited alongside material from the Museum's collection charting the history of British stand-up and sketch comedy.
