A young police constable holds the line as a crush of fans presses forward, autograph books and pens thrust into the air, desperate for a signature. Caught mid-scrum in the crowd, his expression somewhere between duty and disbelief, this is street photography at its most alive - unposed, unrepeatable, and entirely of its moment.
Likely shot in the 1970s judging by the fashion and hairstyles on display, it captures the particular mania of fandom before the age of camera phones, when getting close enough for an autograph meant elbowing your way to the front of a barrier.
Each made to order print is produced using archival giclée printing on Canson Baryta gloss paper - a premium fine art paper favoured by professional photographers for its exceptional detail, rich tonal range, and long-lasting colour. Your print arrives with a certificate of authenticity, personally included with every order.
